         Domain Name FAQ's

:: How long does it take to use a domain name after registration?

Domain name registrations or renewals may take up to 4-8 hours for .COM and .NET domains and about 24-48 hours for all other domain extensions to become effective. The reason for this time is due to the number of networks involved controlled by several different agencies.

:: What is "Masking" a domain name?

Masking is forwarding a domain name that redirects all traffic to a specific URL. When someone types www.domain-name.com into their browser, our system will automatically forward or redirect them to whatever domain or subdomain service you have with us. Forwarding with Masking prevents visitors from knowing that they have been redirected by making sure that your domain name remains in their Web browser's address bar.

:: Who owns the domain name?

Even though we are the registrar of domain names ... you own the name and can take it anywhere you want.

:: Can I have a domain name changed or get a refund if it was misspelled?

No, we cannot change or edit the spelling of a domain name after it has been registered. We try to register the domain exactly as you gave it to us. If the registration succeeded, you will be charged, even if the domain you gave us was not what you actually intended to use.

:: How long do domain name transfers take?

Domain name transfers may take up to 24-168 hours to become effective.
